Mediation

Our Lawyers have extensive knowledge and experience with mediation cases. Mediation attempts to settle a case without going to trial. The plaintiff, defendant, attorneys, and a neutral third party called a mediator talk about the case to see if they can find a solution. A mediator is there to facilitate a conversation about the most agreeable option for both parties.

Mediation generally only happens if both sides agree to try settling in this way.

The advantages of mediation are:

  • Mediation saves time and money. Resolutions can be achieved within days or weeks, rather than months or years.
  • You have a greater say in creating an agreement that considers your needs and those of the other party.
  • You may not have to go to court and rely on a Judges final decision, which you will find less stressful.
  • Mediation produces more satisfying results that may help with future communication with the other party.

Our goal is to help clients reach amicable resolutions for difficult legal matters, that satisfy all parties involved.  For additional details on how mediation could benefit your case, please contact us.
