Zara Morrison

Zara Morrison grew up in Sussex and graduated from Sussex Regional High School in 2011 before moving to Fredericton to attend St. Thomas University where she majored in English. Zara graduated St. Thomas with a Bachelor of Arts in 2015 and from the University of New Brunswick with a Juris Doctor in 2017.

While at the University of New Brunswick, Zara was a Board Member with CHSR 97.9 FM, a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, a member of Animal Advocacy and the Law, a volunteer with Pro Bono Students Canada, and was awarded the John Teed Prize in Community Planning (2017).

Following graduation, Zara moved to Saint John to article at a mid-size law firm. When the option to return to her hometown of Sussex arose, Zara jumped on the opportunity and joined T. Allison Gerrish Law Office in May of 2018. Zara was later admitted to the bar in June of 2018.

Since returning to Sussex, Zara has represented clients on a number of different matters, but most enjoys practicing Property Law, Corporate/Commercial Law, Family Law and Wills & Estates.

Zara has also been a Board Member with the Family Income Security Appeal Board since January of 2018.

When not in the office, Zara can be found walking her dog, Ruby, or riding her horses.
