Emma Carey

Emma was born and raised on the West Side of Saint John, New Brunswick. She is a proud Saint John High School Greyhound Alumni. She graduated from Saint Mary's University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts and Major in Criminology with Distinction. She received her Juris Doctor at the University of New Brunswick in 2024. During her time at UNB, she was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to complete a semester abroad at Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

While at UNB, Emma was an active volunteer with the Fredericton Legal Advice Clinic and a member of the Prison Law Society.  In her free time, she enjoys yoga, spinning, reading books for her book club and dining around with friends.

Emma is inspired by the commitment the lawyers of Lutz Parish Gerrish dedicate to the community daily. She is very excited to work alongside their team and complete her articles.
