Lutz Parish Gerrish traces its roots to 1977, when David Lutz began practising law in Hampton, New Brunswick. From those beginnings, the firm developed a strong local practice serving individuals, families, businesses, and communities across the province.

Over the decades, the firm expanded beyond Hampton, establishing a broader presence throughout New Brunswick while maintaining the practical, community-focused approach on which it was built. Public records over the years show the firm growing from its Hampton base into communities including Grand Manan, Sussex, Saint Andrews, and St. Stephen.

1977

The Beginning

David Lutz founded the firm in Hampton after being called to the New Brunswick Bar in 1977. His practice became known across the province, particularly in criminal and family law and courtroom advocacy.

Growing Across New Brunswick

As the firm grew, so did the range of legal services offered and the communities it served. New offices and satellite locations extended the firm’s reach while allowing clients to continue receiving legal services close to home.

A Broader Full-Service Firm

Today, Lutz Parish Gerrish is a full-service New Brunswick law firm serving clients across the province in areas including family law, property, criminal law, wills and estates, litigation, and corporate and commercial matters.

The firm has grown substantially, but its focus remains familiar: practical advice, experienced representation, strong local relationships, and service rooted in the communities where our lawyers and staff live and work.
